Finance Interview Prep Workshop by PASSMAX
Individuals who have Finance Job Interviews coming up this January (this includes interviews for investment banking, asset management, equity research, sales and trading). A 4-day Finance Interview Prep Workshop has been scheduled by PASSMAX for January 2-5, 2012. This workshop has been strategically timed to ensure that candidates walk into their January job interviews fully prepared. The format for the workshop will be as follows:
Part 1: Entrench the student's comprehension of the fundamental principles of finance.
January 2: Quantitative Methods, Financial Statements
January 3: Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Markets, Equity
January 4: Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternative Investments
Part 2: Take up sample interview questions.
January 5: Students will be taught how to respond to cases and technical interview questions through the use of the fundamental concepts learned from Part 1. As well, students will be taught how to intelligently analyze current market and economic events (as contemporary issues are always brought up during interviews).
Enrolling:
Upon registration, students will receive a FREE comprehensive guide which will provide a useful summary of the financial concepts that are typically brought up during these interviews. Students are strongly encouraged to read this guide before attending the workshop (particularly the segments that are most applicable to the job being sought).
The instructor for this workshop will be Krikor Ghanaghounian, MBA, FCSI, CFA. Krikor is an award winning finance instructor who has taught MBA students since 1998 and CFA candidates since 2003. As well, he has had over 15 years of financial industry experience.
The fee for the entire prep program is $200 (plus HST). This fee will cover the entire 4-day workshop, the comprehensive guide (in pdf format), as well as post-workshop support in the form of weekly briefings and reminders. This fee will be due when candidates sign in at the beginning of the 1st session on January 2nd. However, to reserve a spot, you will need to email your name to info@passmax.org (Subject: Interview Prep). Due to class size restraints, spots will be reserved on a first-to-register basis. We ask that only individuals who have finance job interviews lined up for January 2012 register for this workshop. Additional details for this event are as follows:
