Chanjayaa Kovinthan
Editor-in-Chief
Chanjayaa is currently in the third year of her undergraduate studies in Management and Economics. She hopes that the experiences and academic knowledge she acquires from streaming in accounting will help her to attain her Chartered Accountant designation post graduation. Chanjayaa joined Investment Society with the intention of broadening her knowledge of the world of finance and her understanding the ever-confusing markets that drive the economy. She has retrieved that, and much more, from being part of the Publication Team. She has strengthened her team working skills, acquired new technological competences and fortified her ability to communicate information. Being able to combine her interest in writing and literature with her desire to enrich her academic career as a member of a successful financial society has been nothing but a pleasurable experience for Chanjayaa.

Pam Lau
Copy Editor
Pam is in her fourth and final year of the Arts Management Co-op program. She is excited to enter the digital marketing and communications field upon graduation, with her eyes set on an MBA somewhere down the road. At Investment Society, she's looking forward to designing and publishing quality issues of The Investor, while also building soft skills by working with the team. Off campus, you can find her behind a camera lens, reading up on tech trends, or tasting her way through the city's eateries.

Melissa Tang
Copy Editor
Melissa is a third year student currently specializing in accounting. She hopes to attain her CA designation upon graduation and to give back to the community throughout her career. More specifically, Melissa would like to help-low income and immigrant families as part of her job. She believes that life is about finding the right balance of things, and that we must all do our part to help those who don't have that balance. She joined Investment Society to get a taste of the finance world and develop new skills. Not only will being part of Investment Society help Melissa learn more about working with others, it's a great opportunity to meet new people, polish networking skills and contribute to the university experiences of others at UTSC. Investment Society will definitely give her the motivation and edge to succeed in the business world. Work and life is all about relationships so it is essential to cultivate those within the student community. In her spare time, Melissa loves travelling; in fact, she goes almost every summer. Her dream vacation at the moment would be to go on a cruise for the first time-which might be this summer!
