Moving into the role of Vice President of Business Development, I took on greater responsibility, leading projects and coordinating events that provided meaningful opportunities for students to explore finance, develop professional skills, and connect with peers and industry professionals. Our Objective
We aim to equip finance enthusiasts with the knowledge and resources needed to enter the finance industry. Our goal is to offer finance students the chance to explore various career paths within finance and provide students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to delve into finance-related professions. Through our wide range of activities, resources, and opportunities aimed at equipping students with practical financial knowledge and skills during their time at university, we enhance the educational, recreational, social, and cultural environment of the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Our Purpose
We at the Investment Society share a common purpose to enhance financial literacy, raise awareness of financial events, and inspire greater numbers of students to consider pursuing careers in finance.
Our Community
Our club also provides a space for networking, sharing experiences, and building relationships with peers who share similar career interests. We hope to foster friendships and professional connections that last beyond university.
